MAKE: Hardware Innovation Workshop

The 2013 MAKE Hardware Innovation Workshop is scheduled for May 14-15 at the College of San Mateo. The agenda is jam packed with knowledgeable presentors, like Chris Anderson (DIY Drones), Zack Smith (HAXLR8R), and Massimo Banzi (Arduino).

If you plan on attending the Bay Area Maker Faire, then you should consider arriving a couple days early to attend the Hardware Innovation Workshop.

Elysium  Official Sony Pictures Movie Site

The new SF blockbuster starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster just went to the top of my "must see" list. Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait until August 9th, assuming that they do a world-wide simultaneous release.

There's a new Kickstarter project named "Filastruder" for a cheap ABS filament extruder that's practical for a hobbyist to use. It claims to reduce ABS filament costs dramactically.
