RobotWorld 2013 Korea: THOR-MANG Demonstration (Video)

Here's a robot video that I found interesting:



THOR-MANG turns off a valve in a simulated power plant disaster, one of the steps in the DARPA robot challenge competition. The robot is the size of a large child and makes extensive use of Robotis components. Since the contest is highly competitive, they are only showing very small parts of the entries real capabilities. The THOR series of humanoid robots, lead by Dr. JK Han of Robotis, is a collaboration between Virginia Tech, The University of Pennsylvania, ROBOTIS and Harris Corp.
