  1. Neat but complicated technology. The iBot had a great 4-wheel function that made going up and down single steps look like cake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuU4axZnjFc. It handled stair cases as well.

      I watched the video you posted along with another and I think the iBot is more impressive. This Chiba Tech chair is more complex and much larger which would make it unsuable in most household conditions. I’m sure this protype will probably shrink down as time goes on and hopefully it will become more usable in the future. Still cool to watch though and I’m hopeful for its future.
