Researchers from China's Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology present a climbing robot called Clothbot that can grip and climb on various kinds of clothes.   1. I’m trying to guess what types of applications this could be used for but I can’t readily come up with anything. I’m not putting a lot of thought energy into it right now though so if someone else can chime in and tell me, I’d appreciate it.
