NAO Robot Takes Tokyo By Storm (Photo Essay)
Bringing robots to Japan might be considered to be the modern day equivalent of taking coals to Newcastle, but that's exactly what the innovative French robot company, Aldebaran Robotics is doing, and they have already achieved surprising, and well deserved success. The reception that the Aldebaran humanoid robot, NAO, has been met with is nothing short of a heartfelt welcome with open arms.
Here's a brief taste of the reaction the robot and Aldebaran's new Educational Partnership Program triggered at a joint press conference with the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering Science and Technology Information Science and Technology held on Wednesday.
