NTF Sets Schedule for Robot Challenge

The New Science Foundation released the shedule for this year's Tsukuba Real World Robot Challenge along with a map of the course. Quite a few test driving dates are scheduled from the end of July through November17th, just a few days before the final competition takes place on November 18th and 19th.

This particular robot challenge is like a mini-version of the DARPA challenges held in the US with autonomous robot vehicles, only taking it off the street and putting the action on the sidewalk right along with pedestrians, children, bicyclists, and lots of other hazards.
