Paris meeting offers rare chance to explore robot learning

If you happen to be in Paris on February 17th, you will definitely want to make room in your evening schedule to attend the Wednesday Robot event organized by the SyRobo Robotics Union. The theme for the upcoming meeting is "Robot learning like a child", and promises to be extremely interesting and thought provoking.

Exciting Robotics AI Program:

Kicking off at 18:30 with brief introductions, the agenda includes participation by four leaders in robotic AI development, Raja Chatila, Jean-Christophe Baillie (CEO & Founder, Gostai), David Filliat (teacher & researcher, ENSTA), and Pierre-Yves Oudeyer (researcher, INRIA).

The main meeting sessions and networking opportunity will be followed by a demonstration of the Robot iCub project, which was designed to study cognition using a humanoid robot roughly the size of a 3.5 year old human child.
