Makerbot enables robotics and more (Photo set)

Had a totally awesome Makerbot demo session with Yumae-san, the creator of the Blazer robot laser tag system and founder of HotProceed at Tokyo Hackerspace on Monday.

He generously shared all of the background information on his adventures with 3D printing for hobby robotics and model creation. And he gave us quite a few helpful tips and techniques so that we could learn from his experience and avoid some the traps he fell into.

We'll be posting all the meeting notes along with a couple videos and information on the upcoming HotProceed Cupcake Makerbot printer that will handle larger parts and include some really neat enhancements.
