Robot Artist Festival in Takamatsu scheduled

There’s what looks like a totally awesome Robot Artist Festival scheduled for February 21st in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. The event is generating a tremendous amount of interest in the area and the organizers reported that the first block of 800 tickets quickly sold out.

In addition to robot demonstrations, a robotic petting zoo, and exhibitions of robot artist works, the day’s agenda includes major presentations by leading experts on virtual reality (Dr. Sidney Fels ? ArtiSynth), play robot factory, robot speech and drawing, and anime robots.
