Robot Artist Festival in Takamatsu scheduled
There’s what looks like a totally awesome Robot Artist Festival scheduled for February 21st in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture. The event is generating a tremendous amount of interest in the area and the organizers reported that the first block of 800 tickets quickly sold out.
In addition to robot demonstrations, a robotic petting zoo, and exhibitions of robot artist works, the day’s agenda includes major presentations by leading experts on virtual reality (Dr. Sidney Fels ? ArtiSynth), play robot factory, robot speech and drawing, and anime robots.

One of our favorite robot blogs, GoRobotics, is 10 years old and to celebrate the happy occasion they’ve lined up some great sponsors like SuperDroid Robots, Apress, Pololu, and Trossen Robotics.

The postman rang the doorbell with a delivery this morning. Within a few minutes we had the package open, the new innovati Robotinno humanoid robot powered up, and started streaming video of it terrorizing one of our dogs, Maxie.
