Tokyo Hackerspace Kicks Off With An Open House (Video)

Tokyo Hackerspace opened the doors on its new digs (pretty amazing place actually) with a major Open House event. The turnout, and the enthusiasm, were way beyond anything the organizers originally imagined.

Today’s Open House included drawing sessions, soldering, brain machines, sewing and patterns, and a whole bunch more. No robots yet, but that’s just a matter of time. Quite a few people asked about doing some robotics projects, and there was also some side discussion about implementing robot studies in local and international schools, especially at the junior and senior high school levels.
