Rodman777 has made a huge amount of progress with his home-brew Master Slave system for the Kondo KHR-1HV.

It will be interesting to see how he makes the improvements, and how he decides to deal with the low body and legs. Some of the builders, like Nao Maru (King Kizer) split the upper and lower body functionality, and use a hand-held game pad device to control the robot walking and other lower body moves.
