ROBOT Magazine: Latest Issue

Botmag

Our copy of the latest ROBOT magazine just arrived in the mail, so it should be on bookstore shelves soon. This issue (September/October 2009) features our review of the new RoboPhilo Junior humanoid robot, a detailed and quite interesting report on the VEX Robotics World Championship Competition by Tom Atwood and Stephen Rainwater, and lots of other robot goodness.

There’s also an excellent report by Don Chambers from the American School in Japan (ASIJ) covering their robot education initiatives and the trends here in Japan and Asia. We’ve had a soft spot in our heart for ASIJ ever since our children were students there in the 1980’s, and definitely applaud the school’s commitment to science and robotics.
