Honda Introduces Robotic Walking AidHonda just announced a robotic device designed to assist people with walking. The innovative design utilizes technology that came out of Honda's efforts to simulate human walking for the ASIMO humanoid robot.
The device allows people to walk normally, including climbing stairs, by putting their own shoes into the device's shoes and resting their weight on the device. As they walk, the device helps to support their weight and mantains balance.
