ROBO-ONE 14: Robot Ready to Challenge Michael Jackson (Video)As if Michael Jackson didn't already have enough troubles, now he has to worry about dancing robots claiming his dancing, and perhaps even moon-walking title. Last Saturday afternoon, during the Demonstration phase of the ROBO-ONE 14 competition, YOGOROZA-V - a well known and highly honored humanoid robot from Osaka - got fired up and turned in a performance (video below) that even we found pretty amazing.
YOGOROZA-V tips the scales at 2.9 kg, and only stands 40 cm tall, which makes him a scale model of the "Thriller" king of fantastic moves. But although his size may be tiny, his designer didn't scrimp at all on his flexibility, speed, and choreography. Not only can the robot dance extremely well, he's also a world class fighter with a long track record of wins at events like the Wonderful Robot Carnival, Robo-Fight, the Kondo KHR Anniversary competitions, and of course ROBO-ONE.

I didn't see any moonwalking but that is some of the best jump-turning I've ever seen!
