Mega Robots Getting Even More MegaWith every competition, the ROBO-ONE humanoid robots continue to get larger, more powerful, and more realistic. That will be obvious this weekend at the ROBO-ONE 14 competition held concurrently with Robo-Japan at the Pacifico convention center in Yokohama.
The odds-on mega-favorite, at least for the first day's demonstration phase, has to be Maeda-san's OmniZero.7. The latest OmniZero stands a full 1 meter tall and packs a deadly wallop, as you can see from the photos and videos included in yesterday's Robot Watch report from Osaka.
Only one problem - the ROBO-ONE committee neglected to include one important rule from human boxing - "No hitting below the belt!"
