i-SOBOT Humanoid Robot In Education (Video)

The popular i-SOBOT humanoid robot from Takara TOMY is being used to teach robot design in Florida. Although the robot sells for under $300, and is considered to be in the 'toy' category by some, it is a fully functional 17 DOF biped robot.

Sudhir Reddy Posireddy prepared an extensive set of i-SOBOT demonstrations (video below) to illustrate humanoid robot principles for the Robot Design class at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Florida International University.
