ROBO-ONE Goes Hawaiian! (Video)
Most of us have trouble just getting our humanoid robots to walk, or even stand up. But, the ROBO-ONE champion builders, like the Sumy Family, take the basics as a given.
They find inspiration and satisfaction in taking on more serious, and sometimes hilarious, challenges. Like dancing the hula, or doing the Limbo dance!
Sumy Family developed the two routines as a part of their demonstrations for the final round of the ROBO-ONE 2007 Grand Prix competition held at a Hawaiian themed resort in Japan.

For those who might not already be familiar with the Sumy Family, their robots are all full custom designs using Hitec servos and components. Rumor has it that they, and their robots, will be featured in a segment of an upcoming PBS series on women's lives around the world.
