If you're a robot fan, and especially if you are a humanoid robot fan, and you're lucky enough to be in the US, you'll definitely want to mark your television calendar for Wednesday, November 21st. That evening (check your local television listings for exact times and channels), the PBS Wired Science series is scheduled to broadcast a segment that we're sure you will really enjoy. The current 'teaser' for the program reads:
"Competitive robot building; Linda Avey and Anne Wojcicki, cofounders of 23andMe, on their goal of providing people information about their genomes; using electricity to fight the symptoms of various diseases."
The highlighting is ours. Be sure to let us know what you think after you watch the program. Unfortunately the series doesn't air here in Japan at the moment, so you'll be our eyes and ears this time around.
