Worth Checking Out - Paper Robots 1999
The Paper Robots 1999 website has a good selection of humanoid robot plans you can print, cut out, fold, and assemble. Most of them already have a color scheme, but one (pictured left) is completely blank so you could pick your own favorite colors - or even edit in an image of your own face - before printing.
Be sure to check out their version of Optimus Prime - it actually transforms! And, take a look at the associated Paper Robot Flickr galleries to get some idea of what can be done.
