1st MANOI PF01 Robots Delivered!
Bright and early Sunday morning, the very first production MANOI PF01 robot kits were delivered to customers that had pre-ordered one of the 150 special limited edition robots. Like us, many of them fell in love with the robot's unique personality, performance, and anime styling when the early prototypes were first demonstrated to the public almost two years ago.
We were on hand at the RT Corporation facility in Akihabara to celebrate the first deliveries, and managed to capture a few photos of the lucky robot fans as they received their MANOI.
The initial MANOI robot customers come from many different walks of life - students, business people, technicians, etc. - and cover a wide range of ages.
Okamoto, the Kyosho Manager responsible for the MANOI AT01 and PF01 projects, explains some of the fine points of setting up and operating the new robot.
