On The Other Side Of The Microphone

Motoko Takenishi of Robocon magazine usually finds herself on the opposite side of the microphone asking the questions instead of having to answer them. In addition to acting as the managing editor for what has to be the most popular robot magazine in Japan, she is on the organizing committee for ROBO-ONE, and regularly serves as a judge during the competitions.

Last Sunday, at the Kyosho Athlete Humanoid Cup robot competition, Ms. Takenishi took off her editors cap, fired up her MANOI AT01 robot, and joined in the fun. We're sure it must have been very stressful, but she did really well and demonstrated some real challenging spirit. A great example for others interested in robotics, and for other magazine writers and editors as well.
