It's In the Air!

The ArtBots 2006 Regional Show was staged last week in New York City. From the photos and videos that were posted online it looks pretty amazing. Some of the robot art included a robotic accordian named "Misericordiam" that played only when it felt like it; a set of motion operated chimes that clang when you move; huge expressive paper mache bots equipped with built-in Mac Mini's; an innovative DOT-COM inspired functional slot machine; and a whole lot more.

Check out the Artbots photo set, and take a look at the floating ball and the robotic chimes in action.
