New Robots On Display At Plastic Model/Radio Control Show

Robot
The 2006 All Japan Plastic Model and Radio Control show ("PlaModel Radicon" in Japanese) opened today at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Chiba. We've posted the raw photo album online, and will be posting quite a few reports and videos from the show over the next few days. The show is only open to the trade and press on Thursday and Friday, and the general public is encouraged to visit on Saturday and Sunday.

While it isn't specifically a 'robot' show, there were certainly lots of robots and robot related items on display. It was easy to see, and even play with some of the brand new robots, including the JR Robotics RB-2000 series, the G-ROBOT from HPI/Futaba, a pre-release glimpse at the new 'armor' for the Kondo KHR-2HV, and lots of others. Kyosho will be giving special demonstrations of the MANOI AT01 and PF01 robot on Saturday and Sunday.
