Microsoft Robotics Studio/Simulation – Interview with Laurent Lessieux (Video) Part 2

In part 2 of our interview with Laurent Lessieux, one of the few humanoid robot experimenters evaluating the new Microsoft Robotics Studio platform, he explains how straightforward the software is to install and get up and running, what it would take to emulate the functionality of other standalone robotic applications, its service based architecture, the current support and documentation, and some of the modules like vision, voice, and laser range-finder.

In part 3, he covers what it takes to actually model a robot so that the software can use it, and discusses some of his future plans to take advantage of the robotics studio package.
