Bioloid Robot Visits The Dentist

Robot
Carl, perhaps better known as 'Pev' on the popular Robosavvy robot forums, has managed to hack Bluetooth control capability into the Bioloid robotics kit from Robotis. By effectively highjacking the robots Zig100 wireless link circuitry, and with some helpful pointers from the Robotis folks, he added a BlueSmirf BlueTooth module to the robot and decoded Bioloid's associated data formats.

The modification allows him to control any of the numerous robots constructed with the kit using a Visual Basic (Vb.net) program running on his PC. And, he has generously documented the whole process in a very detailed modification pdf document and is responding to questions and comments on the Robosavvy Bioloid Forum.
