We're always on the look-out for interesting robot exhibitions, museums, and competitions, so now we absolutely have to add the brand new Robo Park in Puchon, Korea.
Robo Park is billed as Korea's first and only year round robot museum and features 30 different types including robots designed from domestic and industrial applications. More than half of the robots were designed and manufactured by companies located in the same building with the museum.
Originally, the concept was to setup a showroom for Korean robot manufacturers, but the museum's charter was expanded to act as a regional robotics technology center and educational resource.
Popular exhibits include Mr. Face (shown above), 6 Robonova robots giving a three minute classical dance performance, and Robhaz - the robot used by Korean troops in Iraq.
