Hello Kitty Robot In Action (Video)
Hello Kitty never says a word – she doesn’t even have a mouth. But, that wouldn’t work for a Hello Kitty robot that’s designed to do a lot of things, including sing songs.
So, the robot designers gave Hello Kitty a voice, and programmed her to recognize your voice, ask you questions, and respond to your commands and comments. We had the opportunity to observe the Hello Kitty robot up close on Saturday, and took this short video clip-
The sign to the right of the robot indicates it’s on sale for half price – the original store price was somewhere north of USD $5,000 and they probably weren’t getting many takers. The show attendees tended to come right up to the robot, pat it on the head just as if it was a real cat, and some people were actually discussing a purchase with the salesman.
