At some point, art, technology, and nature blend together to give mankind a new way to express itself. And in the process they also change our way of thinking about ourselves and how we fit in the bigger picture. A caveman discovers that he can use charcoal from his fire to draw a spider on the cave wall. Thousands of years later, a painter uses oils and canvas to render a similar spider. In the 21st Century, an engineer or hobbyist uses wires, LEDs, and a pager motor to create a spider that actually moves.
