Just A Song And Dance Man... Robot (Video)
Sometimes when you watch a performance by some of the advanced bipedal robots – like Asimo or the Sony QRIO, it almost seems like they aren’t really robots, they are actually little children dressed in a robot Halloween costume.

Although the robot’s mimicry isn’t perfect, it is darn close. QRIO, for example, not only walks like a human being, he runs and even does a pretty good attempt at hopping. Of course he runs like a Japanese male does, not like a Westerner. There are significant differences. But, since QRIO is, after all, a Japanese robot, it stands to reason that he would mimic the movements and body language of his designers.
