Once every two years, the world’s largest robotics show is held in Japan, and this year the event will take place from November 30th (Wednesday) through December 3rd (Saturday) at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center.
In 2003, the last time the event was held, it featured 117 exhibitors, 27 organizations, 686 exhibits, and close to 100,000 attendees. Every major player, and most of the minor players will be there, and will be showing off the latest and greatest robot technology they have to offer.
In addition to the technical papers and regular exhibits, there are also a number of special events on the agenda, including the final Robo-One robot battle competition of the year.
Needless to say, we will be posting reports from the show along with photos and videos – almost real time.
