Why I started this blog
Ever since I was old enough to read by myself, I've had an avid, almost obsessional passion for robotics. I grew up watching black & white television programs like "Space Cadet", and loved movies featuring robots. Classic science fiction like "Forbidden Planet", "Kronos", and of course - "The Day The Earth Stood Still".
Now, as an adult, I get to live out my childhood fantasies. Technology has advanced so far, so quickly, that now it's easy to cobble together a PC based remote control for my Robosapien robot, or build a competitive micro-mouse.
This blog is dedicated to documenting my robot experimentation, robot news, and anything else robotic that happens to catch my attention.
